multa laboro por iri al hjustono
Mi pasigis la pasintajn tagojn cxefe per pakado kaj forjxetado de aferoj, por pretigi la domon vendi dum mi estos en Hjustono. Hodiaux mi finis la laboron (pli malpli) kaj tiam veturis al Hjustono... kia longa strecxa laciga tago. La domo sxajnas strangege nun kun malplenaj cxambroj! Almenaux unu bona afero okazis, babilado kun annA, kaj googletalk efektive funkciis bone (post kelkaj tagoj de malbona sonkvalito). (Gxenerale googletalk funkcias pli bone ol skype, almenaux por ni.) Mi alvenis preskaux je la 10-a ptm, kaj mia frato forestas cxar iu amiko telefonvokis lin por peti helpveturon - li estis cxe festivalo kaj iu acxulo sxtelis lian motorciklon! Cxiuokaze la venontaj kvar semajnoj estos tre intensaj kaj surrealaj, mi pensas. La CELTA-kurso sxajne estos tre interesa kaj utila, sed lasos malmultan liberan tempon al mi.
I spent the past days mostly packing and getting rid of stuff, to get the house ready to sell while I'm in Houston. Today I finished the work (more or less) and then drove to Houston... what a long stressful tiring day. The house seems really weird now with empty rooms! At least one good thing happened, chat with annA, and googletalk actually worked well (after a few days of crappy sound quality). (Generally googletalk works better than skype, at least for us.) I arrived almost at 10pm, and my brother is gone because some friend phoned him for help and a ride - he was at RenFest and some jerk stole his motorcycle! Anyway the next four weeks will be very intense and surreal, I think. The CELTA course looks like it will be very interesting and useful, but will leave me very little free time. |
