pli da adiaŭoj Mi tagmanĝis kun amikino L, kun kiu mi ludis kelkfoje antaŭ duonjaro - mi ne vidis ŝin post mia vojaĝo ĝis nun, do ni babilis du horojn agrable ekstere sub suno en iom malvarma vetero.
Ĉi-vespere mi revenis al go-klubo, unuafojon en longa tempo, kaj ludis trifoje. Mi terure malvenkis dum la unuaj du (kiuj estis kontraŭ klubanoj, kiujn mi eĉ ne konis antaŭe, pro mia longa malĉeesto), tiam mi venkis kontraŭ longatempo goamiko Jim, kio ege plaĉis - ne la venko (nu tio iom plaĉis), sed la fakto ke mia lasta goludo en Aŭstino dum longa tempo verŝajne estis kun tia taŭga amiko. Mi volis oferti donace al li (aŭ kelkaj aliaj) bonkvalitan porteblan goekipaĵon kiun mi lastatempe konstatis tro pezas kaj grandas por porti al Pollando, sed nek li nek Joe nek Tracey volis ĝin, do mi donis ĝin al Jim por konservi kaj uzi kiel grandan premion dum la sekva goturniro.
Du amikoj planas adiaŭajn festojn por mi kaj gastigos ilin, kio tre plaĉas. Unu okazos la 2-an de decembro, la alia la 10-an de decembro. Plejparte konsistos el tabulludantaj amikoj. Se vi ankoraŭ ne ricevis retpoŝton kaj volas ĉeesti, bv retpoŝti al mi.

Aliaj aferoj: mi iris al CarMax por akiri oferton kontraŭ mia aŭto. Ili baze ofertis kiom mi atendis (tri cent dolarojn malpli) laŭ la "blua libro" de aŭtoprezoj, do bone, nun mi havas konkretan bazon por proponi prezon al kelkaj amikoj kiujn interesas mia aŭto. Fine, mi aĉetis vintrajn gantojn ĉe REI - ili estas maningoj, anstataŭ kun apartaj fingringoj, do supozeble tio pli bone konservos miajn kompatindajn manojn varmaj en Vroclavo!
Ate lunch with L, with whom I played a few times a half-year ago - I'd not seen her since my trip until now, so we chatted a couple hours, under the pleasant sun in somewhat chilly weather.
This evening I went to go club, first time in a long time, and played three times. I was crushed horribly the first two (against people I don't even know, since I've been away so long), then I beat Jim, a long time friend, which was cool - not the victory (well, that was nice), but the fact that my last go game in Austin for a long time maybe was with such a fitting friend. I wanted to give to him (or a few others) a nice quality portable go set which I recently realized is too big and heavy to take to Poland, but neither he nor Joe nor Tracey wanted it, so I gave it to Jim to hold and use as a big prize in the next go tournament.
Two friends are planning farewell parties for me, which is awesome; one on the 2nd and the other on the 10th of December. It will mostly consist of my boardgaming friends. If you've not gotten email and want to be there, let me know.

Other stuff: I went to CarMax to get an offer on my car. They basically offered what I expected ($300 less) according to the blue book, so now I have some concrete base for offering a price to several friends who are interested. Finally I bought winter mittens at REI - mittens instead of separate fingers since mittens are supposedly better to keep my poor hands warm in Wrocław!
