mi estas en vroclavo!
Mi estas en Vroclavo! La vojaĝo iris sufiĉe glate, kaj mi iomete parolis pole. Post kvar monatoj da laboro, estis ege strange vidi miajn ĉiujn posedaĵojn nun en du valizoj kaj unu dorsosako (plus eble ok poŝtitaj skatoletoj). Mi havas senton kiel la fino de longa malfacila softvara projekto, kiu finfine finiĝas post monatoj da intensa laboro kun tro multa streĉo, timo, dubo, ktp. En vroclava flughaveno mi renkontis a2na, kaj ĝoje sentis ke tiu laboro valoris. Ni piedekskursis hodiaŭ en pluvaĉa malvarma malluma vetero (sunsubiro okazis antaŭ la 4a ptm!), kiu tute ne ĝenis min, kaj ĉio strangas sed samtempe familiaras. Ni manĝis en la loka vegetara restoracio, kaj mi mendis per mia aĉa sed komprenebla pola. Mi iom malpli nervozas pri la lingvo. :) Sume mi tre feliĉas pri aferoj, kaj mi pensas "nekredeble" (kaj "niesamowite") ofte...
I'm in Wrocław! The trip went fine, and I spoke a little Polish with various people. After four months of work, it was really weird to see all my possessions now in two suitcases and a backpack (plus maybe eight little boxes I'd mailed). I have a feeling like the end of a long hard software project, which finally is done after months of intense work with too much stress, fear, doubt, etc. In the Wrocław airport I met a2na, and joyfully felt that the work was worth it. We walked around today in crappy rainy cold dark weather (sunset was before 4 pm!) which totally did not bother me, and everything seemed strange yet familiar. We ate in the local vegetarian restaurant and I ordered my stuff in incompetent yet understandable Polish. I'm feeling a little less nervous about the language. :) All in all, I am very happy with things, and I think "incredible" (and "niesamowite") often... |
