hi5.com is lame Several years ago I had joined
http://hi5.com (yet another lame social network site), then cancelled my account in January 2006. Their FAQ says "Once canceled, your profile is removed and you will no longer receive email from hi5 or messages from other hi5 members." So 2 years later I am annoyed to get an email from hi5 which says "Dear Russ, Thank you for returning to hi5. You requested that your hi5 account be reactivated. Your account with email address ***@*******.*** is now active." (It mentions the unique email address I used with them.) Their website gives no public email address to contact them and complain, as far as I can tell. Logging in to try complaining fails. I don't recommend hi5.

Do 2 jarojn poste ĝenas min ricevi retpoŝton de hi5 kiu tekstas "Kara Russ, Dankon ke vi revenis al hi5. Vi petis ke via hi5-konto estu reaktiva. Via konto kun retpoŝtadreso ***@*******.*** estas nun aktiva." (Ĝi mencias la unikan retpoŝtadreson kiun mi uzis kun ili.) Ilia retejo prezentas neniun publikan retpoŝtadreson por kontakti ilin kaj plendi, laŭ mia serĉado. Ensalutado por provi plendi ne sukcesas. Mi malrekomendas hi5.
