Ubuntu Linux Esperanto geekery
Mi havas novan komputilon kaj instalis Linukson (Ubunto 7.10) kaj ĝenerale estas kontenta pri tio. Ĝenis min la Esperanta klavaro kiu venas kun Ubuntu (kaj eble aliaj Linuksoj, mi ne scias), kiu laŭ mi tre stultas kaj ne konvenas: oni tajpu qwyx;' por krei ŝĵĝĉŭĥ aŭ ia tia sensenco. Ekde longe mi kutimas tajpi per x-oj, ekz cx por krei ĉ, uzante la programon EK. Tio konvenis ĉar mi ne bezonis ŝanĝi klavarojn por tajpi pole kaj Esperante, ĉar la pola klavaro uzas AltGr-a por krei ą, ktp. Sed EK ne uzeblas kun Linukso. Do mi iom esploris kaj decidis ke eble uzi x-ojn estus iomete pli probleme ol uzi AltGr-ojn, ekz AltGr-c por krei ĉ, ktp. Malkonvene mi ne povus tajpi Esperanton kaj la polan literojn samtempe tiel (pro paroj ĉ/ć kaj ŝ/ś), sed kutime tio ne estus problemo. Do jen mia nova sistemo, kaj mi simple elektas inter klavaroj "Pol" kaj "Epo" laŭ bezono. (Se iu volas redakti klavaron en Ubuntu, serĉu en /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols la individuajn klavarajn difinojn, ekz epo, pl, ktp.)
I have a new computer and installed Linux (Ubuntu 7.10) and am generally happy with it. The Esperanto keyboard which comes with Ubuntu (and maybe other Linuxes, I don't know) annoyed me, since it's stupid and inconvenient IMHO: you type qwyx;' to create ŝĵĝĉŭĥ, or some such nonsense. For a long time I've been used to typing x's, e.g. cx to make ĉ, using the program EK. That was handy since I didn't need to change keyboards to type Polish and Esperanto, since the Polish keyboard uses AltGr-a to make ą, etc. But EK doesn't work with Linux. So I explored a bit and decided that maybe using x's would be a little messier than AltGr, e.g. AltGr-c to make ĉ, etc. Inconveniently I wouldn't be able to type Esperanto and Polish letters at the same time (because of the pairs ĉ/ć and ŝ/ś), but usually that wouldn't be a problem. So that's my new system, and I simply choose between the keyboards "Pol" and "Epo" as needed. (If anyone wants to edit a keyboard in Ubuntu, look in /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols for the individual keyboard definitions, e.g. epo, pl, etc.)
Mam nowy komputer z Linuxem i właśnie zrobiłem, że mogę pisać w Esperanto i po polsku. Nie spodobała mi się oryginalna klawiatura Esperanto z Linuxem bo musiałem używać qwyx;' żeby pisać ŝĵĝĉŭĥ - to głupstwo. Więc zmieniłem tę klawiaturę żeby używać AltGr (podobnie jak polski), na przykład AltGr-c robi ĉ. Wcieŝniej (z Windowsem) mogłem jednocześnie pisać litery w Esperanto (x-em, n.p. cx = ĉ) i po polsku (AltGr-em) ale teraz wybieram klawiaturę ale teraz nie mogę tak łatwo AltGr-em bo są pary ĉ/ć i ŝ/ś. Myślę, że to nie będzie duży problem bo na szczęście zwykle nie piszę Esperanto i po polsku razem. /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols ma klawiatury. |
