making a computer game map of real place gets honor student in trouble as a terrorist
Honor student made a map of his school for a video game, then got in legal trouble as a potential terrorist. Oh, and he owned a hammer, making him a clear terrorist threat.
Just as scary to me is a lot of the comments on that page that agree the student should be punished for this criminal act of, um, gaming enthusiasm and artistic creativity.
Man, I remember playing Half-Life with cow-orkers at an old job, and we talked about how it would be fun to make a map of our building to play in. We were all too lazy to do so, and apparently that is just as well since Big Brother is watching. Land of the free!
Honorita lernanto en Usono kreis mapon de sia lernejo por komputila ludo, kaj nun suferas multajn leĝajn problemojn pro ridinda paranojo (aŭ demagogeco) de oficialuloj kaj policanoj, kiuj nomis lin ebla teroristo. Krome li posedis martelon, evidenta signo de terorismo. Hura, lando de libero.
