Amiko Krzysztof en apuda urbo invitis min ree al sia domo por la tradicia nur-vira ludnokto dum sia edzino estis aliloke. 2 el la samaj homoj de antaŭa fojo (Ryszard, Mariusz) reaperis plus alia nova al mi viro. Estis tre agrabla; ni ludis Metropolys, Snow Tails, Small World, Wysokie Napięcie, Stone Age ĝis la 3a matene. Aparte agrable por mi estis tio, ke nur unu el ili komforte parolas angle, do preskaŭ la tuta vespero estis en la pola, sed mi ofte sufiĉe bone kunkonversaciis. Kelkaj el ili iagrade konscience parolas pole iom pli facile por ke mi povu kompreni kaj partopreni, kaj mi tre aprezas tion. Tio esperigas min, ke mia lama pola pliboniĝas.

A friend Krzysztof in a nearby city invited me again to his home for the traditional "men only" gaming night while his wife was somewhere else. 2 of the same guys from the previous time (Ryszard, Mariusz) were there again plus another one new to me. It was quite enjoyable; we played Metropolys, Snow Tails, Small World, Power Grid, Stone Age till 3 am. It was especially pleasing that only one of them is comfortable speaking English, so almost the whole evening was in Polish, but I was often able to more or less keep up with the conversation. Several of them to varying degrees consciously speak Polish a little more easily so I can understand and participate, and I appreciate that. It gives me hope that my lame Polish is improving.

Grałem znowu u Krzysztofa z Ryszardem, Mariuszem i Tomkiem w 5 gier (Metropolys, Snow Tails, Small World, Wysokie Napięcie, Stone Age) do 3 rano. Bardzo miło było bo cały czas było po polsku ale często oni rozmawiali po polsku trochę łatwiej dla mnie, więc często mogłem rozumieć dość dobrze i rozmawiać. To bardzo miło i to daje mi nadzieję, że mój słaby polski jest coraz lepszy.
